Van Wert Peony Parade

Each year the Van Wert Police Department requests the assistance of our club during the Peony Parade, scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM on Saturday.

Operators are stationed in the staging area, along the parade route, the termination area, and the Emergency Management Agency.

We provide a radio communication information and incident reporting system to the Fire and Police Departments via EMA.

This is done with volunteer operators from our club as well as those from area clubs.

An information meeting will be conducted by the Police Department

in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 515 E. Main Street at 3:15 PM.

Participating amateurs are expected to attend.
